After getting the highest votes and beating the other 23 finalists in 3 other categories; photography, illustration and styling, he also won the overall winner of the ‘Iconique Societás Awards 2009′!
“His entry ‘Paper Couture’, which features models wearing clothing and accessories hand-crafted of paper and card, demonstrates a highly progressive and distinct style, which left the jury in little doubt that Eng is ‘one to watch’. ‘Paper Couture’ gained the highest number of jury votes in the awards, making Ashburn Eng the overall winner of the ‘Iconique Societás Awards 2009.’ – A comment made by the official Societás site.
